FOREWORD

    Since 1972 our goal is the production of extremely light and comfortable outwear and other equipment for climbers who are taking part in expeditions in the most severe conditions in high mountains. That is the main factor influencing design and function of our mountaineering collection with the focus on perfect balance of necessary performance attributes: lightweight and warm comfort.

    We are known for satisfying demands of the most uncompromising users. We have designed the technical outwear and equipment to fit and protect the body in action maintaining the space-saving requests of our customers. Recently the produce became also popular in the field of "non-climbers" although they seldom appear in extreme and hostile arctic conditions. Our collection of outwear is combination of high quality, reliability, usefulness and especially durability in everyday manipulation.

    The way of outfit’s continual technical evolution is culmination of more than forty years of experience from the world’s highest mountain expeditions, trips to arctic peaks and crossings of continental glaciers. Feel this on own skin is a primary presumption of gaining harmony between human abilities and nature power.

    We are aware of using goose down filling in the outwear as one of the necessary conditions during the stay in the coldest environment. In comparison with the most modern and cultivated insulation synthetic materials which have fill power barely 440 cuin/oz our down fill power reaches 800 cuin/oz. It means that at the same warm comfort level a synthetic sleeping bag will be two times heavier than goose down sleeping bag.

• Lightweight preserving the maximal performance

All output is made of the lightest materials preserving the function for exact use. The prove can be 495g sleeping bag KOTEKA 290 made of Softex MICRO, 28g/m2 fabric combining the insulation of down fill power 800+cuin/oz ensuring unbeatable and supreme packed volume.

• Adjustment

Garments and sleeping bags are designed to be used throughout the whole year. Our main concern is to produce precise technical cuts and due to various combinations of different fillings and outer fabrics we trying to evolve excellent items for given usage. All zippers neither on jackets nor sleeping bags have their function, firstly insulation and secondly ventilation. These features will be highly appreciated during the physical activity.

• Details

Large chest pockets are easily accessible even in case of wearing harness or carrying backpack. Pants’ zippers can be fully or partly open. It enables quick clothing even with crampons or clipped skies.
